I needed to obtain a tweet ID from a Twitter URL. And so the way that I did that was using some regex. In order to use regex with make, which used to be known as Integromat, you just add a text parser. And I had as a step before that filter just to make sure that I was passing in a Twitter URL. Redex is something that you're able to use with me, as well as other no code tools. So if you need to extract part of a string, whether it is a Tweet ID from a Twitter URL or some other piece of information, give regex a try. It is a little bit of black art magic and it does take a little bit of trial and error, but there are lots of tools out there to help you out, do a little bit of Google searching, and people can also have shared their little scripts. This script here is just what you would need in this particular case.
